Thieving is a Member-only skill that will take you down some anxiety-inducing paths as you get to grips with the skill and hone your talents in the sleight of hand. Money Making Thieving Requirements RS3

All skills in RS3 have certain items that will boost your progress in various ways. The most common recommendation being the level boost, however, there's more to be said for Thieving. So, here's what you'll need for success on your questionable endeavors: 

• Camouflage Outfit: You can create this outfit using the Invention skills with Camouflage Fragments you obtain by training Thieving. You have a 5% chance of double pickpocketing and a 5% chance of avoiding being stunned. 
• Master Camouflage Outfit: You can create this outfit by merging the Desert Camouflage Outfit, Keldagrim Camouflage Outfit, and Prifddinas Camouflage Outfit. When you have it, it will grant you a 7% chance of double pickpocketing, a 7% chance of avoiding being stunned while pickpocketing, and an increase in the chances of pickpocketing Seren’s Symbol pieces. 
• Trahaearn Exoskeleton Set: This is a reward for completing the Plague’s End quest. It will give you a 25% chance of avoiding being stunned and damaged following an unsuccessful pickpocketing attempt. Moreover, if you have level 75 Thieving and Hunter, you will get a 5% chance of increasing your success when pickpocketing with the Exoskeleton Bracers equipped. 
• Gloves of Silence: It will increase your pickpocketing success rate by 5% while equipped. However, you require level 54 or more of Hunter to use them, which will break after 62 failures. 
• Featherfingered Necklace: If you want your hand to get lighter so you can better take some loot, this necklace contains ten charges that will allow you to avoid being stunned while you are pickpocketing. 
• Freedom: This basic Defense ability (at level 34) allows you to shorten a stun or bind time. However, you will only be able to run or attack during the time of effect, and will not be able to pickpocket. 
• Enhanced Excalibur: It’s not directly an item for RS3 Thieving money making, but it has its utility because it will heal you 20% of your total life point over 20 seconds with a cooldown of 5 minutes. The Elite version will heal 40% of your total health points over 40 seconds. It becomes handy when you are pickpocketing targets that can damage you. 
• Ardougne Cloak: This cloak has tiers, and the most useful are the Ardougne Cloak 3 or 4, which will increase your success while pickpocketing. 
• Soul-in-a-box: This is a perfect item that activates a Distracting Soul, which aids you during pickpocketing. Each Distracting Soul costs 100 charges from a Charge Pack. 
• Crystal Mask: It will increase your chances while pickpocketing by 15% and allow you not to be stunned by an NPC doing so. 
• Five-finger Discount Aura: This item will increase your Thieving success by 3 to 15% while activated. 
• Thieving Cape: The cape you obtain by reaching Thieving level 99, and note almost all items received from pickpocketing, reducing your need for banking items.  

Thieving Money Making Guide RS3

With everything prepared, it's time to see what is in some pockets, and start selling to up your gold intake. There are an abundance of other methods outside of our blog, however, we're covering the NPCs with the best or most loot. So, let's take a look at the best RS3 Thieving money making methods!

Pickpocketing

One of the more common practices in the Thieving skills is pickpocketing. You can use it with a simple man or even Elves, which means you can pickpocket almost every NPC in the game. It's worth noting that you won't be able to pickpocket other players, but the varying NPC options offered certainly make up for this. Using pickpocketing as an RS3 Thieving money making method can be dangerous at a low level due to the possible stuns and damage inflicted. So it's highly recommended to get your Thieving level up first; 62 is a decent place to aim for. As you'll still have some vulnerability, but much more capability. Though it is entirely possible to start doing so from a much lower level.: 

H.A.M Member

A perfect option to start your adventures as a thief since you only require Thieving level 15 for the female follower and level 20 for the male follower. You can find H.A.M. members at H.A.M. headquarters, and they offer a wide variety of items when you're pickpocketing them. Here’s the list:

Cave Goblins

Once you have some experience in the Thieving skill and have grown your levels, you'll see just how easy pickpocketing is. Of course, as you progress, you'll want to earn more XP and a higher profit, so it's time to move on to the next RS3 money making method; Cave Goblins. They can be found in Dorgesh-Kaan, and you'll need at least level 36 Thieving to pickpocket them. Here are some of the things you can receive for your stealthy attempts:

Elf

Despite having a multitude of NPCs to pickpocket, long before the possibility of doing so with Elves, few will provide the best rewards aside from Cave Goblins. If you're looking to pickpocket Elves, you'll need head to Lletya and have at least level 85 Thieving. Take a look below at the rewards from this Thieving RS3 money making method:

After you reach Thieving level 90, you will unlock interesting pickpocketing options, such as Dwarf Traders at Keldagrim. At this level, you can get some worthy rewards for your nasty labor; and as your Thieving skill level grows, you can expect the rewards to get even better. Chests

To maximize the earning possibilities of Thieving, you must focus on locked chests, too. There are several Chests you can open using this skill; however, just a few are worth your time since the loot inside most won’t be the best. Still, you can find good options for RS3 Thieving money making in the following Chests:

Paladin Chest

You’ll need to have at least Thieving level 72 to unlock these Chests; head to King Lathas’ castle in the middle of Ardougne, then walk inside and use the stairs to go up. You must pick a direction (left or right) and use a lockpick to enter through the doors to the far east towers. The loot you will be as follows:

Rich Chest

To unlock this Chest with Thieving, you need at least level 78. This method isn’t too difficult because you only need to head to Dorgesh-Kaan and find these Chests to use as part of your RS3 Thieving money making strategy. Some loot you will see once you open these Chests are:

Ironman is a game mode that pushes players to be self-sufficient, but it has two difficulties: Ironman and Hardcore Ironman. Whichever option you choose will be set for the remainder of your gameplay. Once you start this game mode, you will face various limitations like restricted trade, use of Grand Exchange, minigames, PvP, Treasure hunters, and much more. Finding the proper method for Ironman money making RS3 is part of this challenge, so let’s see what some profitable methods you can do during your adventure.

Killing Turoths

These creatures are Slayer monsters, and to be able to kill them, you will need at least Slayer level 55. Moreover, to be able to convert these creatures into a money making machine, you will be required to kill them with specific items depending on your combat style. To find the Turoths, head to the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon, where you will find about 22 spawns. Moreover, you can go to Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon to find 26 spawns, and the less recommended spot is the Chaos Tunnels, where you can only find 9 spawns. On average, you can expect a profit of about 2.5 million gold per hour and about 1,500 kills.

Safecracking

Safecracking is an alternative to the usual combat method for RS3 Ironman money making methods. This is a Thieving activity where you can steal from safes in almost every location in Gielinor, but you wanna find the best locations to increase your profit. However, you will need to complete all the quests in the Thievies’ Guild quest series to be able to speak to the Safecracking Trainer to receive advice, a Stethoscope, and a Small Loot Bag.

You can crack the safe without using the items, but for the best results, we recommend using them. With the items, the process will be faster, and you will have to leave the spoils behind. You can open some safes without completing A Guild of Our Own (miniquest), which is required to use the Stethoscope or a Loot Bag. Depending on the safe, you will need different levels of Thieving.

The locations where you can find safes are vast, but we have some recommendations like Misthalin, which requires Thieving 62 to 65, and you will need 3 Dial Locks per safe. On average, you will find 11 safes at this location. Another great option is the Kharidian Desert, but it requires Thieving 69, and you will need 4 Dial Locks per safe; here, you will find about 10 safes. Other locations like Asgarnia require Thieving 76 and 4 Dial Locks, and you will get 11 safes.

Karandin is a more advanced location; you will need Thieving 83 and 5 Dial Locks, and you will find 9 safes. On the other hand, an even better location is Hidden, which requires you to have Thieving between level 90 to 96 and a mix of 4, 5, and 6 Dial Locks. Moreover, you will only find 4 safes on Zemouregal’s Fort, 2 on Zanaris, and 3 in Rogues’ Castle.

There are no official rates for these since the final profit is about 600 to 1 million gold per hour, which is a decent amount.

Elite Dungeon 3 - The Shadow Reef

The Shadow Reef is the thief Elite Dungeon and a player combat/narrative experience that will reward you with unique loot. To access The Shadow Reef, you need to head to the eastern shore of Daemonheim. You can do it solo, but we recommend you complete this Dungeon with a friend or two. The requirements to enter this dungeon are not hard to meet, considering it’s one of the best RS3 Ironman money making methods:

• 90 Attack, 90 Ranged, 90 Magic, or 90 Necromancy recommended
• 96 Summoning recommended for Binding contract (ripper demon)
• 96 Herblore recommended
• 95 Prayer recommended

Depending on whether you are doing it alone, with a duo, or trios, your profit will change. On average, you can expect to have 3 kills per hour solo and in a group of two and 4 kills if you are doing it with trios. The average profit for solo is about 26 million gold, 13.8 million for duos, and 13.9 million for trios.

Unstrung Symbol

It is one of the most profitable RS3 F2P Ironman money making methods. However, to make Unstrung Symbols, you will need to use Silver Bars on a furnace while holding a Holy Mould. It will take you around 51 seconds to convert a full inventory of Silver Bars into 28 Unstrung Symbols. It doesn’t require much since the only requirement is Crafting level 16.

To get the most out of your Symbols, you must sell them at the Bandit Camp, north of Edgeville, where you need to sort out some obstacles and find the Bandit Duty Free, which is an untaxed general store location in the Wilderness. Sell 5 to 10 Unstrung Symbols per world to Noterazzo to obtain your earnings. On average, and for starters, you can make about 25K gold per hour, but since it’s a low-intensity method, you only need to worry about farming enough Symbols.

Gold is an essential part of the game, so it’s important to know how to earn gold in-game. Herblore is a skill with great profit that players can earn while going about their day in-game tasks. Using this skill for money making is not difficult, but it still comes with some requirements you must meet before you jump into the action of OSRS Herblore Money Making methods. Herblore can become a constant flow of gold while you level up the skill and sell all you produce. 

OSRS Herblore Money Making: Recommendations 

Before we get into the money making methods, it’s worth noting that the skill Members only, and part of the Production type. With Herblore, you can create a wide variety of potions and sell them for a great profit; however, this skill requires completing a quest before you can actually start leveling up and using it in OSRS Herblore Money Making. 

You will need to complete the Druidic Ritual quest to unlock the ability to use Herblore, and once it’s completed, you will receive 250 Herblore XP, and you will start your journey from level 3. From this point, there are several ways to level up faster and even some methods to gain a profit while leveling. No matter which path you take, the main point of training is to make money in-game, so we recommend cleaning Grimy Herbs or making Unfinished Potions; these methods can be a tedious process, but it’s a source of gold at the end of the day. 

Another way you can train Herblore is by doing quests with XP rewards for the skill. We recommend doing a combination of both, using a defined method to level up, and completing quests like the following: 

• Jungle Potion: 775 XP Reward, Herblore level 3 required. 
• Recruitment Drive: 1,000 XP Reward. Other requirements: 12 Quest Points.
• Heroes’ Quest: 1,325 XP Reward, Herblore level 25 required. Other requirements: 55 Quest Points, 53 Cooking, 53 Fishing, and 50 Mining. 
• The Dig Side: 2,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 10 is required. Other requirements: 10 Agility and 25 Thieving.  
• Shades of Mort’ton: 2,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 15 is required. Other requirements: 20 Crafting and 5 Firemaking.  
• Zogre Flesh Eaters: 2,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 8 is required. Other requirements: 4 Smithing, 30 Ranged, and 30 Fletching.  
• Fairytale II - Cure a Queen: 3,500 XP Reward. Herblore level 57 is required. Other requirements: 40 Thieving and 49 Farming.  
• Land of the Goblins: 8,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 48 is required. Other requirements: 38 Agility, 40 Fishing, and 45 Thieving.  
• My Arm’s Big Adventure: 10,000 XP Reward. Other requirements: 10 Woodcutting and 29 Farming.  
• Eadger’s Ruse: 11,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 31 is required. 
• Grim tales: 15,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 52 is required. Other requirements: 45 Farming, 59 Agility, 58 Thieving, and 71 Woodcutting.  
• Song of the Elves: 40,000 XP Reward. Herblore level 70 is required. Other requirements: 70 Agility, 70 Crafting, 70 Farming, 70 Hunter, 70 Mining, 70 Smithing, and 70 Woodcutting.

Money Making OSRS Herblore: Best Items 

Though Herblore is a skill with good profit rates, you'll require certain items to make the journey easier and maximize your profits. Some items will grant boosts and extras each time you create potions or store herbs during the cleaning process. Here’s our list with all the items you must have in OSRS Herblore Money Making methods: 

• Amulet of Chemistry: This amulet has 5 charges at the beginning, and when you are brewing a potion, you will have a 5% chance to produce more doses of a potion, for example, 4 instead of 3. You can acquire an Amulet of Chemistry in the Grand Exchange for 980–1000 coins or by enchanting a Jade amulet with a Level 2 enchant spell.

For this method, you will need to be near a bank and have 14 Emerald Amulets (Unstrung) and 14 Balls of Wool in your inventory. Here, you simply use the left click on a Ball of Wool and then left-click on the Emerald Amulet; an interface will open up, and you only need to press the spacebar to begin the action. Completing the 14 Emerald Amulets will take around 10 seconds, and completing the full batch will take around an hour. 

Adolescent White Wolves

Most RS3 money making F2P methods are low risk and little to no combat. However, you can generate a decent profit by killing the Adolescent White Wolves on the eastern ridge of White Wolf Mountain in the F2P area, north of Taverly Bank. For this method, you are required to have at least level 30 in Combat and your preferred Combat equipment. Once you are ready and at the location, start by killing the southernmost wolf and then make your way north until you kill the seven wolves. • Raw Karambwanji Bait
• Karambwan Vessel

At least, partially completion of Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.

Living Rocks Cavern 

An area where only Members can enter that was designed for high level players in Fishing and Mining. Despide being aimed toward high-level players, there actually are no skill requirements to enter. However, it is full of aggressive level 92 Living Rock Creatures that guard the resources. It’s important to note this location has no level requirements, the majority of fish are high level. • Desert Amulet 4: You can obtain this item once you have completed the Elite Desert Diary. It will grant you a 20% chance to create a 4-dose Super Antifire Instead of 3 while you are in the desert. 
• Envenomed Perk: With this item, you will have a 10% chance to create a 4-dose potion when you mix a Weapon Poison or Antipotion variants.

Once you're ready to begin your Herblore money making in RS3 journey, you must invest some time and gold to acquire all the resources you need to complete the potions. There are numerous methods using Herblore that will give you profit for your efforts. So prepare yourself, have your hand ready to clean herbs and prepare potions; let’s begin. 

Cleaning Grimy Ranarr

You will notice that Ranarrs are the most commonly traded herb and the essential one to create Prayer Potions; however, before going through the processing, you can sell them at the Grand Exchange for a decent profit. Since this method requires a large amount of buying and selling at the Grand Exchange, we recommend testing the market to see if this will be profitable. On average, it is, but make sure you have a good trade range before buying the Grimy Ranarr herbs. 

This method is simple since you don’t need any items; you’ll just need Herblore level 25 and 1 Million gold. If you are doing it with a Herblore Cape, it will let you clean up to 50,000 per hour. In this case, you will clean a full inventory of 28 Grimy Ranarr in 16.8 seconds, giving you 5,000 clean herbs per hour. You must use Make-X to speed up the cleaning process. You can expect earnings of about 2.7 million per hour using this method without the Herblore Cape. 

Cleaning Grimy Toadflax

With this Herblore money making RS3 method, you will use Toadflax, a herb in high demand since it’s an essential part of Saradomin Brews. For this method, it requires Herblore level 30. Still, you can get a decent profit by cleaning and selling them at the Grand Exchange. You will be buying and selling herbs, so it’s important you check the market prices first before using this method.

Magic Saplings are used for training Farming, but they can generate great gold by planting and taking care of the saplings, waiting for them to grow after a long wait of 240 minutes, but they have an activity time of 10 minutes. Planting these Magic Saplings requires different skill levels: 

• Farming level 75 
• Magic Level 68 
• Combat level 85 

Also, players must unlock the spell Humidify by completing the quest Dream Mentor. 

Magic Saplings must be placed in filled plant pots to grow them; players will also need to use a Gardening Trowel to produce more seeds from planted trees. Likewise, players will need a Steam Battlestaff to cast the Humidify spell to simplify the watering instead of using just the watering can over the trees. The profit for growing Magic Saplings is great; players can expect about 548K gold for each instance. Rates per hour can climb to 3.29 million.      

Toadflax

For farming, toadflax can be profitable since you can make around 257k gold per harvest, and planting an average of 70 per hour, profit can reach up to 2.56 million gold. Sounds good, right? First, you need at least a farming level of 38, but we recommend having a level of 65 for using Farm Guild herb patches. Moreover, players need a level of 61 in Magic or 96 to use Spellbook Swap, a 47 level of Agility for shortcuts to Troll Strongholds, or an Agility level of 73 to get on the roof of Troll Stronghold. For Farming Money Making in OSRS, all these requirements are essential because players are required to teleport through to avoid some enemies like Troll and reach where the herb patches are. However, to plant this herb, you must have at least 32 levels of Farming. Like Toadflax, it will need level 61 of Magic but recommended 96, level 47 of Agility, and a recommended level of 73 to go over all the patches quickly. We also recommend having an Amulet of Nature, Magic Secateour, and a Smoke, Mud, Steam, or Lava Staff with complementary runes and spells for teleporting. Profit rates are around 255k per harvest, with 6 minutes of activity and 90 minutes of recurrence time. Gold per hour is about 2.55 million per hour; however, this rate will depend on whether players use Ultracompost or how many herbs they get per patch, giving an average of 8.8 herbs per farming patch. 

Snapdragon

Another herb with great profit for players is Snapdragon, which can be cleared on level 59 of Herblore and can be available for planting at level 62 of Farming. It has similar requirements as other crops and which benefits players can get by using different items:

For members, we recommend Misthalin Mystery and Dwarf Cannon. They will award you 600 and 750 Crafting XP, respectively, and they don’t need other requirements.

Bow strings

Crafting Bow strings is an easy OSRS Crafting money making method that can net you a decent profit. You can start at level 10, but we recommend starting at level 20 earliest. You only need a flask and a spinning wheel. You can use the spinning wheel located in Lumbridge or the one in the Crafting Guild.

This method doesn’t provide much experience but is good for making money, and you can make a profit rate of 110-130K GP/hour, making around 1200 bow strings in that time. Players use the bow strings to make bows with the Fletching skill, so that’s what increases their demand. 

This method is very AFK-friendly and is only available to P2P players.

Low-Level Gems and Jewelry

Cutting Gems is another OSRS Crafting money making method you should explore. You only need a chisel and the respective uncut gem. Starting at level 1, you can cut opals and gain lots of experience, and you’ll begin to see profit from level 20 with a rate of 1521 GP/hour up to level 99, when your profit rate will be 118.5K GP/hour. Cutting opals is only available on P2P servers.

If you want to explore a F2P method of cutting gems, at level 20, you can cut sapphires, and at level 27, you can cut emeralds. They are not very profitable on their own, but with gold bars and the proper mold, you can make jewelry that can be sold for profit.

Crafting sapphire jewelry is the most profitable F2P OSRS Crafting money making method, followed by crafting emerald jewelry. You can earn 151K GP/hour for emeralds and 163K GP/hour for sapphires, earning 66K Crafting XP/hour or 78K XP/hour, respectively. We recommend crafting necklaces since you can cast High Alchemy on them. We suggest doing this on the necklaces since the profit then becomes 50% higher. You can earn 146 gold for each high-alched sapphire necklace and 166 for each emerald necklace, roughly 50 coins more than selling them unalched.

Like with the other jewelry, you can cast High Alchemy on these items to improve their values. We recommend doing this on ruby rings and necklaces since it can double their price.

OSRS Crafting Money Making: High-Level Crafting

Now that you have reached level 99 Crafting, what remains is to make as much money as possible, so we present you the best OSRS high level Crafting money making methods.

Once you reach level 99, you can purchase the Crafting cape and the Crafting hood for 99,000 coins each. The hood is solely a cosmetic item, but the cape can be used to enter the Crafting guild without wearing a brown or golden apron. You can start crafting diamond bracelets at level 58, but waiting until level 90 is recommended to make better use of your time. You can craft this item in any furnace and make gold at a rate of 200K an hour with a 95K experience as a byproduct, assuming you craft 1200 bracelets in one hour.

Dragonstone Jewelry

Dragonstone jewelry is the most profitable item to craft in the game. You can start making these from earlier Crafting levels, but you'll want to wait for level 90 to maximize your profits. To craft dragonstone jewelry, you’ll need the following:

• Dragonstones

You can make a profit of 729.6K GP if you craft 1200 of these items in one hour and gain 120K Crafting experience. Now that your Crafting is at level 99, you may feel like you can achieve even more. We recommend crafting soul runes at the Soul Altar for those eager adventurers. 1. Mine dense essence blocks in the mine
2. Run to the Dark altar and turn them into dark essence blocks
3. Chip them with your chisel into dark essence fragments
4. Go back to the rock and repeat until your inventory is full
5. After this, you’ll need to teleport to Edgeville with the amulet of glory and go to the soul altar
6. Repeat the process

Dodgy Necklace

This necklace will boost Thieving Money Making in OSRS, and when you equip this item, it will give you a 25% chance of not getting stunned and hit while you are pickpocketing any NPC. Not only that, the Dodgy necklace will grant immunity to being stunned for up to a minute, giving extra chances to speed up the rate of experience gain. Rogue Outfit

Every thief needs an outfit, and to find the right one for OSRS Thieving Money Making, you need to finish Rogue’s Den minigame. Pickpocketing Elves

It is the most lucrative method in OSRS Thieving Money Making, but it requires having an 85 level to start digging into the Elves’ pockets. You can find elves in Prifddinas, and the main money source from this practice is the Enhanced Crystal Teleport Seed. You can expect a profit of 2.3 million gold per hour with 85 Thieving levels, but this amount can increase with a higher level and reach up to 3.35 million gold per hour. Likewise, you will also need to complete Ardougne Diary and Song of the Elves quests to be able to access this method. We recommend having the following items: 

• Dodgy Necklace 
• Food
• Thieving cape (if you have one)
• Shadow Veil spell (To avoid being stunned)

Pickpocketing Vyres 

For this method, you will be required to complete the Sins of the Father quest and have 82 levels of Thieving. Finding Vyres takes quick travel to Darkmeyer, and we recommend having a Gem bag because you will get some precious gems during your endeavors. You can expect a profit of 2.1 million gold per hour at level 82 of Thieving; however, you can expect an increase in profit up to 3.25 million gold per hour with a higher level of this skill. Moreover, this method requires some luck and patience because the main drop, Blood shard, takes about 3.3 hours, on average, to get you one; and there is no guarantee you’ll receive it in this time frame either.

Pickpocketing H.A.M members. 

This is a great way to get into OSRS Thieving Money Making since it requires only a level 15 in Thieving to begin pickpocketing female H.A.M. members and level 20 for male H.A.M. members. On average, your chances are 1 in 50 to get an Easy Clue Scroll. At those levels, you will have a high chance of failing during pickpocketing, and to drop these rates to zero, you will need to level up Thieving to level 93 and complete the Ardougne Hard Diary. Another way you won’t fail at pickpocketing H.A.M. members is to reach level 99 of Thieving and wear a Thieving cape.   

Pickpocketing takes 1.2 seconds, and once you finish, you will usually get an Easy Clue Scroll from H.A.M. members. You can complete the clue scroll in under 90 seconds once you have all teleports unlocked with easy access, too. The strategy you can follow for this method is to teleport to Draynor Villager using an Amulet of Glory, head to the hideout, get a clue scroll by pickpocketing, and complete the clue scroll. You can repeat this process by banking in Draynor Village. We recommend having a Dodgy Necklace for lower-level players. The general profit is around 1.05 million gold per hour. Here are some of the items you can get while pickpocketing H.A.M. members: 

• Gold Trimmed Monk Robes
• God Pages
• Trimmed Armor
• Clue Scrolls
• Cosmetic items. 

Pickpocketing Master Farmers

For this pickpocket mission, you have to be in Draynor Village, and you will get a great profit by using your hands to take the money from Master Farmers. This method is about getting seeds and has an average earning of about 850k to 1 million gold per hour. For better efficiency, you can look for Martin and wait until he is stuck inside the pig pen. Once you are done, you just have to drop all the worthless seeds and do it all over again. We recommend you bring with you the Rogue Outfit with a level 94 if you would rather not bring food during OSRS Thieving Money Making and a Seed box to store the seeds you will be pickpocketing. You have a good chance to get Ranarrs and Snapdragons seeds when using this method! 

Stealing Cave Goblin Wire 

If you don’t vibe with pickpocketing too much, you can steal the Cave Goblin Wire that is outside the furnace in Dorgesh-Kaan’s lower level. You can access this wire machine by heading to the southwest corner, then climbing the stairs there, and going down the stairs found on the next level. Once you are there, click the spool of wire and steal it. You have to wait 6 seconds for the wire to respawn. There’s a chance to get stunned, so bring a Dodgy Necklace and food to heal if necessary; we recommend bringing wine to save money since you don’t need any other skills to use this method. The average profit from stealing Cave Goblins wire is about 651k gold per hour. 

OSRS Thieving Money Making Tips & Tricks

Using Thieving as a money-making method in OSRS can be a high-profit alternative from other ways like Farming or less stressful like those that involve Combat. There are ways to be successful during OSRS Thieving Money Making, but the journey can take time and a lot of leveling up to master the skill. However, there are some basics you must know to begin using Thieving. 

One of the first things you have to do is to change in settings your NPC Attack Options and replace it with ‘Hidden’; with this simple change, you will have less conflict while pickpocketing because you won’t get the first option to attack the NPC when you use your left-click. Instead, you will see the option of pickpocketing, saving you from worthless fights during your thieving endeavors. 

There is only a short cooldown for pickpocketing in OSRS, you can carry out the action on NPCs once every 2 ticks (1.2 seconds). You don’t need to wait until the pickpocketing animation is finished before pickpocketing again since you will know it’s successful when you hear the item sound entering your inventory. Also, there will be an XP increase. Knowing this, you can even double your experience and profit per hour. 

Try to avoid eating while you are stunned since this will extend the waiting period before you can pickpocket again, thanks to the food’s attack delay. We recommend eating after a successful pickpocketing; this way, you avoid extending the stunning time and continue stealing.

There are difficulties for combat: low, for levels 0 to 50; mid, for levels over 50 to 70; high, for levels over 70; and endgame, which requires maximum level. This money making guide for combat covers the most profitable methods in 2023, including PvM, some raids, and PvP.

Of course, methods for F2P combat money making in OSRS are limited, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make good money on these servers. OSRS Combat Money Making: PvM

This section covers the best monsters to slay for money, including F2P and P2P. We also included the requirements, skill levels, and gear to optimize your profit rate. We start with the low-difficulty methods while we climb up to the hardest and most profitable bosses, so buckle up and prepare your gear!

Killing Cows (and Tanning Cowhide)

For starters, this is a suitable OSRS combat money making method and is more profitable than others like killing Hills Giants due to the value of the cowhide. And best of all, it is F2P friendly! All cows leave a hide drop and you can dispatch a cow with a single blow if you have the right equipment. A Mithril scimitar can do the trick perfectly.

Requirements:

• Prince Ali Rescue quest completed
• Combat 20+.
• Mithril equipment.

Difficulty: Low.

The best location for killing cows is at the Lumbridge cow field, and the most efficient way to do this is to kill the cows first and then loot the hides. Once you have it, you can travel to Al Kharid and ask Elis to make you tan soft or hard leather, depending on the market price. The profit for killing cows and tanning hides is 60.5K/hour if you make 325 leather per hour.

We recommend finishing the Rescue Prince Ali quest if you don’t want to pay to travel between Lumbridge and Al Kharid.

Killing Chaos Druids

Killing Chaos druids is a good OSRS money making combat training method since they are only level 13 in combat, which means they do low damage. They also have medium health and drop herbs like lantadyme, avantoe, dwarf weed, and ranarr weed, which are very expensive.

Requirements:

• Combat 20+.
• A decent weapon and gear.
• Amulet of glory.
• Food for healing.
• Looting bag or Herb sack.

Difficulty: Low

The profit for killing Chaos druids is 184K per hour, with a kill rate of 300 druids per hour. You can find Chaos Druids at the Edgeville Dungeon; the level of Wilderness there is 1-4, so it is relatively safe, but you must be aware of PKers. You can also locate Chaos Druids in Yanille Agility Dungeon, where you’ll need Agility 57 to enter, and Taverley Dungeon, where there is no requirement but is usually crowded. Killing Chaos Druids is only available for P2P.

Killing Bryophyta

We are now entering OSRS mid level combat money making. According to the wiki, killing Bryophyta is the most profitable F2P method but is complicated. First, you’ll need one mossy key for each Bryophyta you want to kill. You obtain those by killing moss giants in the Wilderness. Be aware of player killers there; you can use Snare to evade them.

Requirements:

• Attack 50+.
• Defense 50+.
• Strength 50+.
• Magic 50+.
• Prayer 43+.
• Woodcutting 57+.
• Bronze axe or better
• Complete rune armor set.
• Cheap armor for the wilderness.
• Rune scimitar.

Difficulty: Mid

With enough keys in your inventory, you can access Bryophyta’s lair in the Varrock Sewers. You’ll need a knife or a slashing weapon to cut the webs and reach her. Before the fight, you should equip your rune scimitar and armor, activate protect from magic, and ensure that your inventory is filled with high-level food like swordfish. She may summon three Growthlings during the fight; you can take the bronze axe from the log when they appear to deal with them.

You should expect a rate of 129K GP/hour if your kill rate is 1.8 kills per hour, but it may vary depending on your gear, stats, and ability to evade PKers.

Killing Green Dragons

Killing Green Dragons has been a popular method in OSRS for making money with combat because, despite being a mid-level difficulty, the requirements are easy to obtain. They drop green dragonhide and dragon bones with every kill.

Requirements:

• Dragon Slayer II quest completed.
• Attack 65+.
• Range 65+.
• Reasonably strong Melee or Ranged gear.
• Anti-dragon shield or a Dragonfire shield.
• A quick bank teleport (optional) (e.g., Karamja Gloves 3).
• Mythical cape (teleport).
• Antifire potions for melee fight.
• Food for healing.

Difficulty: Mid.

Your GP rate should be around 598K per hour if you have a kill rate of 170 per hour to achieve this profit, but it may vary depending on your gear, speed, and luck.

For this OSRS Combat Money Making method, we recommend killing Green Dragons in the Myths Guilt’s basement for maximum profit since it is 50% more profitable than in the Wilderness. To do so, you have to complete the Dragon Slayer II quest. You can use your Mystical cape for easy banking teleport.

You can kill green dragons with range or melee. The first is safer, but remember to heal occasionally with food if you still prefer the second.

Killing Vorkath

Vorkath is one of the community's best Combat money making OSRS methods. Usually called “the money dragon” or “the dragon of wealth”, you can kill Vorkath solo and get a ridiculous amount of GP. After completing the Dragon Slayer II quest, you can fight this dragon again, but he will be stronger this time.

Requirements:

• Dragon Slayer II quest completed.
• Attack 90+.
• Range 90+.
• Hitpoint 90+.
• Strength 90+.

The most common strategy to kill Vorkath is using a ranged weapon; the Dragon Hunter crossbow with ruby or diamond dragon bolts (e) is a good option. Some prefer to slay Vorkath using melee due to the slightly superior amount of gold you can get this way.

You should expect a profit of 2.4M GP/hour if you at least make 30-34 kills per hour, but it may vary depending on your gear and stats.

OSRS Combat Money Making: Raids

This is it! The Endgame! After all your hard work you will achieve the highest level and the game will reward you with challenges where you can make a ridiculous amount of GP, and one of these most prevalent challenges is raids.

You can usually do raids in groups but you can also do them solo. The goal is to kill all the mini-bosses and the final boss. This is one of the best OSRS Combat Money Making methods since mini-bosses and big bosses leave unique raid drops.

After killing the main boss and completing a raid, a chest will appear. If a purple light shines above the chest, That's mean you are receiving a unique, rare drop. These drops, usually called purples, can cost millions of GP and they are mostly the reason that raids are so lucrative.

All raids have an easy entry variant of difficulty, but if you want to make some gold, you must work hard.

Chamber of Xeric

The Chamber of Xeric was the first raid added to OSRS, back in 2017, and still is one of the most profitable OSRS Combat Money Making methods. You can locate it within a sprawling cave system beneath Mount Quidamortem in the Kebos Lowlands.

The Chamber of Xeric has a participation point system that rewards party members with “purples.” If a player dies on the raid, the party loses 40% of their points.

The chamber has three floors, the first two with 2-3 combat/puzzle rooms for regular-size raids and 4 for big ones. The last room is always the same, housing the big boss. Party members can fully replenish at an energy well at the end of the first two floors.

The profit rate for making this raid is 5M GP/hour. You should do the raid in challenge mode and do two runs to the Chamber of Xeric per hour to make this profit, with each player earning 30 points.This may vary depending on your gear, speed, luck, and if any member of your party dies during the raid.

The Theater of Blood, Scythe of Avatur

The theater of blood is the “edgy” raid full of vampires and horror creatures. This is a fan favorite for OSRS combat money making. You can locate this raid beneath the castle of Ver Sinhaza. To access, you must complete the Priest in Peril quest to access Morytania.

You will need three kills per hour with no deaths to make this profit, with each player earning 30 points, but this may vary depending on your gear, speed, luck, group size, and if any member of your party dies during the raid.

You can do the Theater of Blood equipped with the Abyssal Tentacle, but according to the wiki, you can achieve a more significant profit with the Scythe of Avatur.

Tomb of Amascut

To make good profits, you must complete two runs per hour with a party of three members, but this may vary depending on your gear, speed, luck, rate of the raid’s purple drops, invocations, and if any member of your party dies on the raid.
