Fishing Money Making Guide RS3

Since most of the spots you can fish house a variety of fish and other sea creatures, the profit for each area will always vary. So, in our guide, we’ll focus more on the price per fish to offer you the most accurate results. If you’re looking for the best RS3 fishing money-making methods, your luck and skill level will be more important than the actual method itself. There’s not a single spot where you won’t have an issue finding at least one specific fish. To make your journey into RS3 Fishing money making easier, here are the most in-demand fish at the Grand Exchange:

Manta Ray

Manta Ray is a Member-only fish that you can catch starting at Fishing level 81, but you can also get them by playing the Fishing Trawler Minigame since it’s a potential reward. You can catch them using a Fishing Rod at the Deep Sea Fishing hub, where you will attract these fish with Manta Ray Bait. This bait has about 50 uses before you will need to replace it. Catching a Manta Ray will grant you 200 XP for Fishing every time you catch one. You can get more XP for cooking them if you want to sell Manta Rays cooked, but you must be at Cooking level 91. You can expect to earn about 500 up to 3,200 coins for each Manta Ray, depending on the current demand.

Rocktail

A weird fish that you can find in the Living Rocks Caverns and the Deep Sea Fishing Hub. To catch them, you are required to reach Fishing level 90, and you must be a Member. This fish is an important ingredient for the Rocktail Soup. You will need a Fishing Rod to catch Rocktails. You can expect earnings for each one at the Grand Exchange to range from 770 up to 4,700 coins, making them an excellent option for RS3 Fishing money making; again though, the price will vary depending on the current demand.

Sailfish

It is one of the most profitable fish you can catch as a member. Sailfish are one of the most expensive to sell or buy. You’ll require a Fishing Rod to catch them and a Fishing level of 97. There are some additional pieces of gear you can use for a more beneficial experience while fishing, like:

  • Fury Shark Outfit
  • Ancient Elven Ritual Shard
  • Binding Contract
  • Legendary Call of the Sea Aura

It’s a fish you can find in swift, regular, or calm spots; however, depending on these, you will get more or less experience from the catch. You must be aware that Sailfish disappear quickly, and the calm fishing spots are not the best option because it will take longer to find and catch a Sailfish. On average, some players claimed they are able to catch about 360 Sailfish, giving an expected earning of about 2.3 Million coins per hour. Still, the price per fish can go from 2,300 up to 5,800 coins so the final rates will vary.

Sharks & Great White Sharks

Sharks and, especially, Great White Sharks are fish you must catch with a Harpoon; however, there are other ways, like bare-hand catching, but it has some different requirements. For the usual method, you will require a Fishing level of 80; if you want to cook it, you will need level 84 in Cooking. You‘ll need to unlock the Prawnbroker tier perks to gain some benefits while catching Great White Sharks, like obtaining one Great White Shark half of the time when fishing at Shark spots instead of usual Sharks. For the bare-hand method, you will need to have the following requirements:

  • 96 Fishing
  • 80 Strength
  • 85 Agility (recommended)
  • Completion of Barbarian Training.

With all of these requirements met, you can catch sharks using your hands instead of a Harpoon. If you want to go outside Fishing Shark Spots and go to the Deep Sea Fishing Hub, you will need to use Great White Shark Bait. Generally, for Fishing in RS3 money making methods, you can earn about 1,850 coins per Great White Shark you sell at the Grand Exchange.

Cavefish

Another fish you must keep in mind during RS3 Fishing money making. It’s a type of fish you will only find in the Living Rock Caverns, and you need level 85 Fishing to catch them. Each catch will grant you 300 XP, and you can use a typical Fishing Bait on your preferred Fishing Rod to catch the Cavefish. If you want to sell them cooked, it requires level 88 Cooking. Despite this fish being excellent for money making in Fishing RS3, you must know the location where you catch them is full of high-level monsters, so be aware of this. However, if you use a Shark Outfit or Magic Golem Outfit, you can avoid the aggression of the Living Rock creatures. The profit from catching this fish starts at 500 coins and can go as high as 2,000 coins per fish.

Blue Blubber Jellyfish

A popular option among the wide selection of RS3 Fishing money making. It’s a great option for the high price you can get at Grand Exchange. To catch this jellyfish, you will need the following:

  • 91 Fishing
  • 85 Invention (recommended)
  • Fishing Rod (Recommended an Augmented Crystal Fishing Rod with Honed 6 and Imp Souled 4+)
  • Fury Shark Outfit

  • Legendary Call of the Sea Aura

You can find the Blue Blubber Jellyfish at the Deep Sea Fishing Hub and it’s a Members-only fish. You will gain 390 Fishing XP per Jellyfish. If you want to cook it, you will need level 95 Cooking. The profit you can get from this method is about 3.9 million coins per hour by catching 310 Jellyfish. With the estimated price of a single Jellyfish being about 6,450 coins.

  • Karambwan Vessel

At least, partially completion of Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.

You will need to bait the Karambwan Vessel each time you use it, making this Fishing money making in RS3 method click intense, but the Karambwan are caught almost instantly. The average profit to catch them is about 4,500 coins per cephalopod.

You'll require a Fishing Rod, and the use of Fishing bait to catch them, with each offering 40 Fishing XP. You can find them in different locations like Draynor Village, Karamja, Al Kharid, Entrana and more. The average profit for each Herring is about 600 to 675 coins, making them a great option for all types of players.

Living Rocks Cavern

An area where only Members can enter that was designed for high level players in Fishing and Mining. Despide being aimed toward high-level players, there actually are no skill requirements to enter. Killing Turoths

These creatures are Slayer monsters, and to be able to kill them, you will need at least Slayer level 55. Moreover, to be able to convert these creatures into a money making machine, you will be required to kill them with specific items depending on your combat style. Here, you can see what you will need to kill them in the first place:

  • Melee: Leaf-Bladed Sword or Leaf-Bladed Spear
  • Ranged: Broad Arrows, Broad Bolts, Royal Bolts, or Ascension Bolts
  • Magic: Slayer Dart
  • Necromancy: Does not affect them

Turoths are a great source of Farming XP; you can use Farmer’s Outfit to boost the XP gain even more, but sadly, you will incur more damage. Otherwise, you can use the Anima Core Outfit of Seren or Zamorak if you want the most protection. Moreover, you will need to have the following requirements before you think of facing these creatures:

  • 50 Magic
  • 50 Ranged
  • 55 Slayer
  • 92 Prayer
  • 30 Dungeoneering
  • 74 Farming
  • 61 Summoning
  • 43 Invention
  • Slayer Dart, 75+ Staff of light or Abyssal Wand and Orb with higher damage
  • Broad-tipped Bolts, 80+ Royal Bolts, or 90+ Ascension Bolts with higher damage
  • Slayer Dart
  • Soul Split, 95/99 Torment or Affliction curses
  • Bonecrusher and Bone necklace
  • Seedicide to work on Morchella mushroom spore, 85 for all seeds
  • Smoke devil

  • 2,500 Sliskean Reputation for Caroming perk
  • Access to the Stone of Jas for a 3% damage bonus
  • Scavenging Perk for bonus Invention components
  • 150 Air Runes
  • 50 Death Runes
  • Vecna Skull
  • Nature Runes
  • Fire Runes
  • 1.25 Smoke Devil Pouches
  • 490 Smoke Devil Scroll (Dust Cloud)
  • 1.67 Aggressive Flasks or Aggroverload Potion or Holy Aggroverload 6 Potion

To find the Turoths, head to the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon, where you will find about 22 spawns. Moreover, you can go to Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon to find 26 spawns, and the less recommended spot is the Chaos Tunnels, where you can only find 9 spawns. On average, you can expect a profit of about 2.5 million gold per hour and about 1,500 kills.

Safecracking

Safecracking is an alternative to the usual combat method for RS3 Ironman money making methods. This is a Thieving activity where you can steal from safes in almost every location in Gielinor, but you wanna find the best locations to increase your profit. However, you will need to complete all the quests in the Thievies’ Guild quest series to be able to speak to the Safecracking Trainer to receive advice, a Stethoscope, and a Small Loot Bag.

You can crack the safe without using the items, but for the best results, we recommend using them. With the items, the process will be faster, and you will have to leave the spoils behind. You can open some safes without completing A Guild of Our Own (miniquest), which is required to use the Stethoscope or a Loot Bag. Depending on the safe, you will need different levels of Thieving.

The locations where you can find safes are vast, but we have some recommendations like Misthalin, which requires Thieving 62 to 65, and you will need 3 Dial Locks per safe. On average, you will find 11 safes at this location. Another great option is the Kharidian Desert, but it requires Thieving 69, and you will need 4 Dial Locks per safe; here, you will find about 10 safes. Other locations like Asgarnia require Thieving 76 and 4 Dial Locks, and you will get 11 safes.

Karandin is a more advanced location; you will need Thieving 83 and 5 Dial Locks, and you will find 9 safes. On the other hand, an even better location is Hidden, which requires you to have Thieving between level 90 to 96 and a mix of 4, 5, and 6 Dial Locks. Moreover, you will only find 4 safes on Zemouregal’s Fort, 2 on Zanaris, and 3 in Rogues’ Castle.

There are no official rates for these since the final profit is about 600 to 1 million gold per hour, which is a decent amount.

Unstrung Symbol

It is one of the most profitable RS3 F2P Ironman money making methods. However, to make Unstrung Symbols, you will need to use Silver Bars on a furnace while holding a Holy Mould. It will take you around 51 seconds to convert a full inventory of Silver Bars into 28 Unstrung Symbols. It doesn’t require much since the only requirement is Crafting level 16.

To get the most out of your Symbols, you must sell them at the Bandit Camp, north of Edgeville, where you need to sort out some obstacles and find the Bandit Duty Free, which is an untaxed general store location in the Wilderness. Sell 5 to 10 Unstrung Symbols per world to Noterazzo to obtain your earnings. On average, and for starters, you can make about 25K gold per hour, but since it’s a low-intensity method, you only need to worry about farming enough Symbols.

rs3 summoning money making, ripper demons

Ripper Demons

These are Slayer monsters you will find in a cave under the Abbey of St. Elspeth Citharede and in the Wilderness (level 40+). Ripper Demons are beloved creatures and commonly used familiars in high-level money-making strategies. With the correct items and skill levels, you will be able to defeat them and sell the Binding Contracts quickly. These are the requirements you will need:

When the Ripper Demons attack, pay attention to their adrenaline bars; when they fill up, the demon will jump into the air with a shadow you will see coming from your west. This attack can be immediately after the bar is filled, or they might wait for a bit before doing it. If a player is hit, the jump will deal 32,000 hard typeless damage. You can avoid this attack by moving away from the shadow at least one space.

When you enter a zone with Ripper Demons, they will be passive before you engage in combat. If you are not next to them when they attack, they will teleport and apply Slaughter. Moreover, try not to make your health fall below 35%; all the nearby demons will become aggressive toward you. Potions are an essential part of RS3, and finding the ones on demand will help you earn some gold without risking yourself in other skills like Combat. So, let’s begin!

Herblore Money Making RS3 Recommendations

Before even considering jumping on the Herblore money making bandwagon, you must know this is a Member only artisan skill. Once you process this, you can create various potions and use different herbs for several purposes. Here are some items that will help you while doing Herblore money making methods in RS3:

  • Portable Well: If you like to brew potions on the go, a Portable Well is the item for you. Obtainable through the treasure hunter or the Grand Exchange, this item will work as a portable brewing stand that lasts 5 minutes, but you can extend this time by using multiples of the well. It will grant 10% more Herblore XP and a 5% chance of creating an extra potion that will automatically be sent to your bank.
  • Factory Outfit: The perfect companion for Herblore money making in RS3 since 3 of the 5 pieces of the outfit will give you a 10% chance of creating a 4-dose potion instead of the usual 3. You can stack the bonus by combining it with Morytania Legs 4 and Desert Amulet 4. Wearing the complete Factory Outfit will give you an XP bonus for making unfinished potions. You can obtain this outfit through the Flash Powder Factory minigame.
  • Scroll of Cleansing: An item you can purchase from the Dungeoneering Reward Shop for 20,000 tokens, and to use it, you need Herblore level 49. However, it will have a chance to save the secondary ingredient when brewing a potion and will increase your potion making skill by x2.
  • Brooch of the Gods: This item allows you to create two potions simultaneously while using a Portable Well.
  • Botanist’s Amulet: This item has 5 charges, and when you equip it, you will get a 5% chance of creating 4 dose potions instead of 3.
  • Morytania Legs 4: To get this item and combine it with others for a greater chance of creating 4 dose potions, you will need to complete Elite Morytania Diary. Using it alone will grant a 20% chance of brewing 4 doses of Prayer Renewal instead of only 3.
  • Desert Amulet 4: You can obtain this item once you have completed the Elite Desert Diary. It will grant you a 20% chance to create a 4-dose Super Antifire Instead of 3 while you are in the desert.
  • Envenomed Perk: With this item, you will have a 10% chance to create a 4-dose potion when you mix a Weapon Poison or Antipotion variants.
  • Herblore Cape: A cape you can obtain when you reach Herblore level 99, giving you a perk that will let you clean all the grimy herbs in your inventory but won’t give you any experience.

Herblore Money Making Guide RS3

Once you're ready to begin your Herblore money making in RS3 journey, you must invest some time and gold to acquire all the resources you need to complete the potions. There are numerous methods using Herblore that will give you profit for your efforts. So prepare yourself, have your hand ready to clean herbs and prepare potions; let’s begin.

Cleaning Grimy Ranarr

You will notice that Ranarrs are the most commonly traded herb and the essential one to create Prayer Potions; however, before going through the processing, you can sell them at the Grand Exchange for a decent profit. Since this method requires a large amount of buying and selling at the Grand Exchange, we recommend testing the market to see if this will be profitable. On average, it is, but make sure you have a good trade range before buying the Grimy Ranarr herbs.

This method is simple since you don’t need any items; you’ll just need Herblore level 25 and 1 Million gold. If you are doing it with a Herblore Cape, it will let you clean up to 50,000 per hour. In this case, you will clean a full inventory of 28 Grimy Ranarr in 16.8 seconds, giving you 5,000 clean herbs per hour. You must use Make-X to speed up the cleaning process. You can expect earnings of about 2.7 million per hour using this method without the Herblore Cape.

Cleaning Grimy Toadflax

With this Herblore money making RS3 method, you will use Toadflax, a herb in high demand since it’s an essential part of Saradomin Brews. For this method, it requires Herblore level 30. Still, you can get a decent profit by cleaning and selling them at the Grand Exchange. You will be buying and selling herbs, so it’s important you check the market prices first before using this method.

You can expect to clean up around 5,000 herbs per hour, with an estimated time of 16.8 seconds per inventory. You can speed up the process using Make-X. There’s a buying limit of 10,000 herbs every four hours, but you can ask a friend to buy and trade with you to keep the cleaning process going between sales. Your profit from cleaning 5,000 herbs per hour is around 2.25 million gold.

Super Attack Potions

If you are displeased by cleansing herbs, Herblore money making in RS3 has other options, such as potion making. For Super Attack Potions, you will need more items than just the herb, so let’s see what you need to start:

  • 45 Herblore (50 recommended)
  • 49 Dungeoneering
  • 75 Thieving
  • 75 Agility
  • Scroll of Cleansing
  • Portable Well
  • Brooch of the Gods
  • Factory Outfit (3 pieces)
  • Modified Botanist’s Mask
  • Pack Yak Pouch (Optional)

Using a Pack Yak Pouch, you can brew around 2,800 potions per hour, so it’s nice to have while using this method. If you have your bank, Presets will optimize your potion-making time. It will take some time to get used to managing both inventories. Using Portable Wells is a must in a world where you have a good connection to get better benefits. You can expect to earn about 3.8 million gold per hour.

Super Prayer Potions

Before taking a step into this RS3 Herblore money making method, you are required to create Ground Wyvern Bones, and the best way to do it is using Telekinetic Grind. You must use a Small Rune Pouch or your pocket slot with a Law Rune and Astral Runes on Preset 1 or 2. After that, Keybind Telekinetic Grind on the same key of the Preset, then you must enter the lowest ping empty world and move your bag interface to be next to the bank. Use the Preset, press again, click a Wybern Bones, and then click the bank. Once you have the Grounded Wyvern Bones, you must have the following level and items to move on with this method:

  • 94 Herblore
  • 89 Magic
  • 49 Dungeoneering
  • 75 Thieving
  • 75 Agility
  • Prayer Potion (3)
  • Wyvern Bones
  • Law Runes
  • Astral Runes
  • Scroll of Cleansing
  • Portable Well
  • Botanist’s Amulet
  • Brooch of the Gods
  • Factory Outfit (3 pieces)
  • Modified Botanist’s Mask
  • Pack Yak Pouch (Optional)
  • Completion of Lunar Diplomacy quest

For this Herblore money making method in RS3, you can expect a simple process while making this potion. You must use the Grounded Wyvern Bones in a Portable Well or go to World 84 Lumbridge Market if you don’t have one. You can expect about 2,800 potions per hour using a Beast of Burden like Pack Yack. You can make around 2,500 potions per hour, earning roughly 14 million gold per hour.

Divination Potions

As with other Herblore money making RS3 methods, you must use similar items for your potion making; however, you can expect to have a bigger batch of potions using a Beast of Burden since it will help you optimize your time spent during this method. Here’s the complete list of requirements:

  • 43 Herblore (50 recommended)
  • 49 Dungeoneering
  • 75 Thieving
  • 75 Agility
  • Rabbit Foot
  • Spirit Weed Potion
  • Scroll of Cleansing
  • Portable Well
  • Botanist’s Amulet
  • Brooch of the Gods
  • Factory Outfit (3 pieces)
  • Modified Botanist’s Mask
  • Pack Yak Pouch (Optional)

On average, you can expect to make about 2,500 potions per hour without Pack Yack, but you can reach up to 2,800 with it. We recommend you use your own Portable Wells in worlds with a good connection to obtain bigger benefits. Your average profit is about 14.4 million gold per hour, but you must check the market before using this method to ensure your efforts are worth it.

Super Antipotions

This Herblore money making RS3 method follows similar steps to potion making, but you can expect to have different requirements and items; still, most of the requirements stay the same. Here’s the list:

  • 48 Herblore (50 recommended)
  • 49 Dungeoneering
  • 75 Thieving
  • 75 Agility
  • Irit Potion (unf)
  • Unicorn Horn Dust
  • Portable Well
  • Botanist’s Amulet
  • Brooch of the Gods
  • Factory Outfit (3 pieces)
  • Modified Botanist’s Mask
  • Pack Yak Pouch (Optional)

You can use Portable Wells for this method; though if you don't own one, go to the Lumbridge Market on world 84 as suggested for other methods. On average, you can expect to make between 2,500 and 2,800 Antipotions, depending on whether you are using Pack Yak. Your profit per hour will be about 8.7 million gold.

rs3 f2p money making, rs3 killing chickens

Killing Chickens

This is a method that even brand new players can make use of, and there is no risk of dying. This means it is widespread amongst the community for its ease in general and in making a profit. While this is an easy method to use, we recommend having the following:

You can kill the chickens at Fred the Farmer’s farm, located north of Lumbridge Market and its bank chest. Chickens drop Raw Chicken, Feathers, and Bones. You can use the bones to bind your action bar, bury them, and gain Prayer XP. Likewise, all the drops are relevant since you can sell the Raw Chicken and the Feathers at the bank. If you want to maximize your earnings, you can sell Eggs too. For this RS3 F2P money making method, you will use 3 spawns in the area. The chickens lay eggs, and you can grab them as part of the process. For each chicken, you can expect feather drops of numbers 5, 10 or 15, and the Raw Chicken.

Chickens are easy to kill, so you can use a Scimitar as a melee weapon. They don’t have several life points, and the way to kill them may vary, but using Magic or Ranged are preferred methods. Using a Staff of Air for an unlimited supply of Air Runes, and with the Dragon Breath ability, you can kill many chickens at once. With intense focus, you can do a complete run. For this method, you can expect to kill around 900 chickens per hour, translating into a profit of 2.3 million gold per hour after selling all the drops.

Tanning Hides

This is one of the preferred methods to train Crafting, but it’s also a great way to earn a profit since you only need around 9 million gold to buy Cowhide. This RS3 F2P money making method will have a limit because you can only buy 10,000 Cowhide every 4 hours, so take this into consideration before jumping into the tanning hide process. You can overcome this limitation by trading with other players since you can do all your tasks in about 10 minutes. Beware when you are about to buy at the Grand Exchange because Cowhide is the cheaper option to make this method; however, you can use Soft Leather, but your profit will be slightly reduced. The average profit for the batch is around 2.5 Million gold.

Cadava Berries

Some of the most valuable ingredients in Necromancy Potions are the Cadava Berries, making them an easy way to get into RS3 F2P money making. You don’t need fancy items or even a particular skill level to pick them. The only requirement is an Archaeology Journal. You can pick the Cadava Berries from a Cadava Bush located in Varrock; there are three of them with two berries each, so that you can get 6 in total. This method requires world switching as these berries have a long respawn time, so if you want to get them all quickly this is your best option. You must expect to have 28 berries after 5 world switches; banking is fast using the War’s Retreat Teleport, then use the Archaeology Journal to teleport back. It is possible to complete 25 runs in an hour to have a profit of 2.7 million gold per hour. Beware, Cadava Berries are in high demand, so you may find some competition, making the process longer and the profit lower.

Smithing Rune Dart Tips

This is a Money Making RS3 F2P method with almost no requirements, but you will need the following:

  • 50 Smithing (51 recommended)
  • Blacksmith’s Outfit
  • Rune Bars
  • Completion of The Tourist Trap (Member’s quest)

Though you will need to have completed a Member's quest to access this method, in all other aspects it is free-to-play. However, if you do not have a membership at all, feel free to skip and check out the next method on our list. The Rune Dart Tips are in high demand since they are preferred for fletching. We recommend that you have level 51 in Smithing to smith 10% faster since it will take 37 seconds to smith 1 Rune Bar into 50 Rune Dart Tips. It’s possible to smith around 4,500 rune dart tips in an hour. For this RS3 F2P money making task, you must deposit all your Rune Bars into your metal bank via an anvil or forge. Once there, click on the anvil, select the Rune Dart Tips, press your space bar, or click “Begin Project.” You don’t need to wait for the smithing to finish; click on the anvil, select “Open Smithing interface,” and make another unfinished Rune Dart. Repeat this process until you have a full inventory. After setting this, your player will automatically start a new unfinished Rune Dart, and you only need to interact with the game every 5 minutes. The earnings are about 2.6 million gold per hour.

Stringing Emerald Amulets

It’s one of the most profitable methods for RS3 F2P money making; however, the investment you need to put into it is big, around 30 million gold for a profit of around 4.7 million per hour. Still, there are some limitations, like the buying limit of 5,000 Emerald Amulets (Unstrung) every 4 hours. Luckily, you can overcome this limitation by trading with other players. In general, the process is simple; here’s the list of the requirements to have:

  • 31 Crafting
  • 5,040 Emerald Amulet (Unstrung)
  • 5,040 Balls of Wool

For this method, you will need to be near a bank and have 14 Emerald Amulets (Unstrung) and 14 Balls of Wool in your inventory. Here, you simply use the left click on a Ball of Wool and then left-click on the Emerald Amulet; an interface will open up, and you only need to press the spacebar to begin the action. Completing the 14 Emerald Amulets will take around 10 seconds, and completing the full batch will take around an hour.

Adolescent White Wolves

Most RS3 money making F2P methods are low risk and little to no combat. However, you can generate a decent profit by killing the Adolescent White Wolves on the eastern ridge of White Wolf Mountain in the F2P area, north of Taverly Bank. For this method, you are required to have at least level 30 in Combat and your preferred Combat equipment. Once you are ready and at the location, start by killing the southernmost wolf and then make your way north until you kill the seven wolves. After you complete this, return to the southernmost end; you’ll be there by the respawn of the first wolf to repeat the process. Killing them twice will fill your inventory, so use the Lodestone Network to teleport back to Taverly and bank to continue. On average, you can kill around 315 per hour, giving a profit of 1.8 million gold each hour, varying depending on your speed.

Smelting Rune Bars

While smelting is usually a simple task, with Rune Bars, it can be a little more difficult. Though with this RS3 F2P money making method, you can still expect a good return on your investment; however, the list of requirements for this is longer than the actual process. Here’s what you need for Smelting Rune Bars:

  • 50 Smithing (57 recommended)
  • 91 Prayer recommended for Superheat Form
  • 102 Archaeology and 99 Smithing strongly recommended the Orthen Furnace Core
  • Smelting Gauntlets or Blacksmith’s Glove
  • Modified Blacksmith's Helmet
  • Blacksmith's Outfit
  • Augmented Crystal Hammer (with the Prosper and Fortune 3 perks)
  • Modified Blacksmith's Helmet
  • If you cannot use the Orthen Furnace Core use these items: Grace of the Elves, Ancient Elven Ritual Shard, Super Prayer Renewal Potion.
  • Completion of the following Member’s quests: Family Crest, Plague’s End and The Light Within.

We recommend you have at least level 57 in Smithing because you will have a 10% extra chance of doubling the bar without using more resources while smelting. It will take 52 seconds to make a complete inventory on average. The investment is around 9.7 million, and you must purchase Runite ore and Luminite. You can expect to smith 2,000 bars per hour, but with the extra 10% chance, you can see an increase to 2,200. The profit for this RS3 F2P money making method is about 3.3 million per hour if you are level 57 in Smithing; if you have a lower level, the profit is closer to 2.08 million per hour.
