We have outlined the main reasons why you might receive this error in the first paragraph of this post. We will now go through each of those issues and share an easy fix for all of them!
To fix this issue you will need to resolve your connection issues. One easy way to do this is by restarting your computer. After that – you can then check if you are either connected to Wi-Fi or ethernet. If you aren’t – you should connect now.
If you are connected – and you are trying to play on a locally hosted server – be sure that your server is online and that it is connected to the same Wi-Fi/ethernet as you are.
To solve this issue – you should double-check that the hostname you entered is correct and doesn’t have any typos.
