Shard of Genesis Essence can be used to unlock an "Innate Mastery" enchantment for tier 95 weapons. When wielding a weapon upgraded by the shard, player's damage and accuracy are increased to values of a tier 100 weapon. One shard is required for upgrading a two-handed weapon or a dual-wield weapon set.
